COVID-19 Studio Protocols

       As many of you are aware, group fitness studios were temporarily suspending operations (more info) for 2-weeks starting November 7, 2020, 10 PM until November 23, 2020, 12 PM.

Continuing operations are subject to adherence to these protocols that have been approved by the local BC Medical Health Officer.

Thank you for support Gear Up Cycling and we understand that some of these changes can be uncomfortable; however, we ask for your continued support by following these protocols when at Gear Up Cycling Studios. Our continued operations depends on it, but most importantly it is for the safety of everyone, coaches, riders, or partners at Rep1 Fitness and the local community here in Vancouver.

In order to participate in a Gear Up Cycling Studio Workout, you agree to the following:

COVID-19 Self-Assessment

You answer YES to the following 4 statements.

  1. I am NOT experiencing any of the following new-onset symptoms:
    Fever, New or worsening cough, Sore throat/ Painful swallowing, Difficulty breathing, Diarrhea, Nausea and/or vomiting, Fatigue, Muscle aches, Loss of appetite, Chills, Headache, Loss of sense of smell.

  2. I have NOT travelled outside of Canada, including the United States, within the last 14 days

  3.  I have NOT been in close contact with someone who has a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis within the last 14 days

  4.  I have NOT been told to self-isolate in accordance with Public Health directives.

You agree to follow the posted signage at Gear Up Cycling Studios

​At the Studio you agree to the following:

  1. To answer the questions in the self-assessment asked by a coach at the studio.

  2. To have your temperature taken by a Gear Up Cycling coach. In order to participate your temperature must be under 37 Degrees Celcius.

  3. To wear a mask before entering and until you are at your designated bike trainer. Wearing a mask is also required If you leave the designated area or are unable to keep 2-meters physical distance.

  4. A 5-minute timer at the end of the session will be started by the coach. By the end of the timer, we kindly ask participants to exit the studio.
